Before agreeing to participate in the trial
The screening process is an essential step in determining if you are suitable for a trial, and our team is here to guide you through it.
Following the screening visit, please be aware that the results obtained may indicate that you are not eligible for participation in the study.
Travel and accommodation
Please ensure you can attend all appointments (including screening, in-house stays, and outpatient appointments). You must also plan for travel and accommodation where necessary.
We do not reimburse travel unless stated in the informed consent form. If you require accommodation, we cannot guarantee this, but we will do our best to meet your requirements.
You may be asked to wear a (24-hour) heart monitor if the study you are planning to participate in requires this.
There may be some special requirements for your appointment, which you would have been informed of during your telephone conversation and may not be noted below; if you are unsure, please call or email us at here
Please ensure you bring the following documents to your screening visit
- A valid form of photo identification (Volunteers who do not have a valid UK passport must provide a valid VISA for the duration of the study.)
- Proof of your National Insurance number
- GP details (Name, address, and telephone number) – a minimum of six months' medical record is needed to be eligible.
