What taking part in this study involves
This trial will help us collect information about the safety and tolerability of the investigational drug, how long it stays in your body, and how it affects your body.
- You will need to attend a screening appointment so we can check if you are suitable to take part in the trial. At the appointment, we will perform several assessments, including taking blood, checking your heart function, and carrying out a physical examination. Screening will be carried out over one day, but it may be held across multiple days if necessary
- The trial involves an in-house stay at our London Bridge unit of approximately 4 days/ 3 nights. While you are on the unit, you will receive a single injection of the study drug
- After your stay with us, you will be required to come back to the unit for at least 12 follow-up visits. From your screening appointment through to your final visit, the whole process may take approximately 13 months. In total, you may need to visit the unit 16 times
